A few days ago I wrote that the key to peace in the Middle East lies in China. Now it turns out that Vladimir Putin holds that Chinese key. This is, after all, a combination that is often talked about – Chinese economic and cultural power together with Russian diplomatic skills and Russian fighting prowess.
While the West has not even managed to stop the payment order to radical jihadist groups, and the streets of Western cities are chanting ‘Gas the Jews’, Tsar Vladimir has called all the major players in the region, they have all answered their phones, he has been able to talk to all of them, and now he is offering to broker peace. That is to say, Middle East peace talks under the auspices of Russia and China, without the Americans. Israel is in a desperate situation and has no choice but to agree to this.
