A few days ago, we were discussing whether Europe is really turning into a military power that could potentially start a war or whether there are just ritual gestures without meaning and a huge rip-off. Since then, the UK has completely shut down steel production (after 150 years) and another modern power station has been demolished in Germany. Not only did they shut it down, they tore it down so that it could not be rebuilt in the future. I am afraid that this gives a very clear picture of how Europe is preparing for war and how it will be able to help its possible allies in the future.

  • Big Serge published another long article yesterday (I will come back to it) where he clearly read out the Russian demands:
  • Regime change in Kiev so that the new regime is not bitterly hostile to Russia
  • The annexation of Donetsk and Luhansk to Russia
  • Extensive easing of Western sanctions against Russia
  • Strong guarantees that troops from no NATO country will be deployed in Ukraine

These are not intolerable conditions. Ukraine would remain an independent state, would not lose any vital territory, and would retain access to the sea. The winner is in a position to make much tougher demands. Probably the result of Trump’s negotiations.

In fact, the only thing preventing an end to the war is that the Zelensky junta is seeking another million dead, an even more devastated country and much worse conditions.

Recall that in February 2023, China proposed a peace plan that would give Ukraine incomparably better terms than it has any hope of today. Even then, the Ukrainian Government rejected it.

It is becoming clearer and clearer that the fall of the Zelensky fascist regime is not only in the interests of the US and Russia, but above all in the interests of the Ukrainian people. And also in the interests of the citizens of the Czech Republic.
