Sometimes we are accused of looking to the past. But the opposite is true. The past is a passing world run by America’s financial elites. It is the belief in a global free market. This is the rule of a new aristocracy. This is the service economy and the naive notion that children don’t need knowledge, that they can find everything on wikipedia. That view may prevail in some parts of the world, but that part of the world will pay the price in backwardness and decline in all areas.

Future. This is a world where there are several equal civilizations. Where the economic and educational centre is in China. Where national governments pursue their own interests and regulate their national economies accordingly, and where this is taken for granted. A world that understands that the real source of wealth is manufacturing and agriculture, not financial services. A world where children are not taught according to 19th century methods, but where the use of new psychological knowledge enables them to learn everything that children of generations ago could do and much more.

“Belonging to the West” is just another way of saying belonging to the past. Western governments may introduce ever harsher repression and organise more and more trials, but they will not change this basic trend.

I think we will find, surprisingly, that for most people in the Western world it is not disadvantageous at all. We may lose out in some meaningless financial indicators, but we will have to learn to produce and grow again because people from other parts of the world will no longer work for us. The new western elites will find that they are once again dependent on the labour of the lower classes. We will need an education system where science is taught instead of political correctness and woke education.

This is, paradoxically, a better prospect than what maintaining Western dominance would bring us.
