So they banned gasoline-powered cars. If you are wondering how they are going to make it so that there is enough electricity and sufficient infrastructure to replace current cars with electric cars, you are asking a completely unnecessary question. The Head of the European Commission has already made it clear that electric cars will not be for everyone. And because only the richest will drive them, there will be no problem with electricity production or charging station capacity. How simple!

Of course it will cause some problems. For example, families with more children will stop going on trips. With all the big purchases, we’ll be dependent on delivery services. But most of all, millions of people won’t get to work. Hence the added impetus to depopulate the countryside and move to the big cities. But there is a simple solution to all this! Set up more commissions, create more bureaus, and pay for more non-profits. This has worked for all the previous problems. The same results will be achieved this time.

By the way, note how naive were those who guessed that the war in Ukraine would put the Green Deal on ice. In fact, they were addressing the question of whether it would be sensible to stop the programmes while we are at war. Of course it was! But they should have asked a different question. Have the groups that pushed the climate madness lost momentum? A little bit, yes, because some of the activists have changed the subject. But no department was closed, no bureaucrat was fired, no consulting firm went out of business. They are as strong as ever. And no opposition has grown up to oppose them. So very similar balance of power, very similar results.
