I get the question of why I never quote Jordan Peterson here. The answer is simple. Jordan Peterson is an excellent public organizer. He is a brave man and a thoughtful debater who can stand up to radical feminists. He is doing important work and doing it well.

But Jordan Peterson is neither an original thinker nor a brilliant analyst. I don’t want to comment on his psychology, but on socio-economic matters you will hear nothing from him but old clichés, often already disproved or even based on ignorance.

These glosses are not an overview of what anyone has done that is useful, but an unravelling of riddles. That’s why I’m committed to authors who bring original insight and a deeper understanding of what’s going on around us.
