Musk forever

Apr 10, 2025

We don’t know if Elon Musk will actually leave Trump’s team, but he certainly won’t leave his political movement. He couldn’t leave even if he wanted to. The angry mob of the departing oligarchy would destroy him. He simply has no choice but to see it through to a victorious end.
A typical mistake the liberal oligarchy repeats over and over again. This is the fundamental weakness of mob action. The mob can humiliate someone or tear them apart. The mob can’t negotiate, the mob can’t compromise, the mob can’t be moderate (i.e. anything in between).

Note that ALL the enemies of the regime had a long transition period in which they tried to negotiate. Virtually none of them started an all-out war of their own accord.

Note also that if the young Soros wanted to quit politics and go into, say, whaling, the new regime would give him no problems.

Elon Musk is in a particularly vulnerable position because his Tesla brand has for years been the way the liberal aristocracy has distinguished itself from the supposedly primitive lower classes. Without it, Tesla is just an overpriced electric car. The current decline was predictable, and only one thing can save Tesla. The company will change who is up and who is down. The Tesla brand will identify the wealthy nationalists and populists, and they will be seen as the ruling class.

If the regime is able to respond to attacks on Teslas with the same speed and ferocity with which it protected the monuments to the victims of racism a few years ago, it will mean that the new power has been consolidated.
